1) Make a Spot Topic for the First Round- The topic name needs to pull people in, here are some ideas... "[NEW] Club Cg Contest [Big Prizes!]", "Club Covergirl Contest!! Win BIG!!" or "BEST COMP YET: Club Covergirl!" Then you need to be clear in your Rules and How to enter. I think I am most of the time, but I see some clubs that I don't understand. The owners are unorganized and unprofessional. I like to put it in easy #'d steps. Sometimes it's just one step though, but I still like to make it in #'d steps because it's easy to understand. For the first round, I let any member enter. I usually make them answer a few questions to enter like: Have you ever won cg? What's your goal in life? How would you describe yourself? Things like that. It gives me the idea of them. It also gets more entries when it's less work. I don't have many rules to my contests. I think it's unfair to do starpoint limits. I don't do Deadlines, just for every contest I usually wait about a week depending on how many entries there are and the pace at which they're coming in. The prizes for this round should be pretty small, that's what I do. I make the prizes get bigger. For this round, the ones who make it might get 3 stardollar gift. I also do other things. I offer them 5/5 votes and discounts on stuff I might be selling to club members.

2) Make a Spot Topic for Round 2- Round 2 is not much unlike round 1, but usually in Round 2 I post who made it in... and be clear that people can't enter unless they made it from round 1. Club covergirl takes a long time to I also suggest having another contest for people who didn't make it. That's what I do. I still do #'d steps and stuff. For round 2, since I already asked the questions I like to have them do Sceneries. I have them make a scenery to go on the Front Page if they win. It's a part of the prizes and it also let's you see their skills. It's up to you if you want 1 more round before the Poll round, which is my favorite part of the contest. If you do a third round before polls, it could be a styling contest or a writing contest. That's what I did. I have them write a little speech for if they won it could go on the front page... which is another part of the prizes. For each of these rounds, make the prizes go up. They get more and more prizes. So you might give another 3 stardollar gift for the entries that make it past round 2, then a 5 stardollar gift for round 3 before polls. If you don't do a round 3 before polls, I suggest doing 5 stardollar prize for round 2. If round 2 is the last before polls, you have to get it down to 3. That's all that can make it to voting. If you are having round 3, then for round 2 only eliminate another 3 or half again... whatever seems right. The point is, for voting it has to be down to the top 3.
3) Set Up the Top 3 in the Poll- For this, just set up the club poll like I show below in the picture. This lets the members and other stardoll users vote who they want to win club covergirl. I show a picture of the top 3 in the poll either on the club presentation to the left of the poll or in the club scenery on the front page near the poll. The presentation is better, because then people who aren't members can see what they're voting on. I number them too. So, on the front page the 3 pictures of the top 3 would be numbered 1, 2 and 3. Then their names in the polls would also be numbered to match. It's all about being clear. You should also make another Spot Topic. This one just Shows the Top 3, that it's time to vote and what the official prizes are for the Club covergirl with the most votes! Encourage people to vote for who they want and to tell their friends. I think it's fair and it lets people see your club. They might join!
4) Announce the Winner and Give Prizes- After about a week or so, I announce the person from the Top 3 that had the most votes. I make yet another spot topic. Say the winner and what they won. Also mention the results of the poll from right when you closed it. Make a big deal out of it. That's what it is! A big deal. Here are the prizes I give and things I do for the winner of Club Covergirl: Stardollar gift worth 10 stardollars or more, 5/5 Votes, Mentioning in Poll, MeDoll on Front Page, Scenery on Front Page, Contest in Honor, etc. Think of these, added to the previous prizes from the last rounds. That adds up.
