People You Should Avoid

Hello guys, it's Peyton (ZendayaLovesMe). There has been a person on Stardoll who resides in the UK who has been going around sending friend requests telling people to go to this cheat engine website. Some of the usernames are JagodaS2, loopytutti, IcyEvelynT, and vitoriaR96. This mysterious user keeps making accounts to try to hack you. Never go to the website stardoll.thecheatplanet.com, it is a hacking website and you can lose all of your starcoins and stardollars in no time. They're trying to mess up your mind just to get your money, delete your clubs, your friends, and maybe even delete your account period! I have received 3 friend requests from these people. JagodaS2, loopytutti, IcyEvelynT, vitoriaR96. I will show you them below. Report them, block them, and report them again so they're gone and they don't steal your money! The way they find you is by going to the members section and going to everybody they see. We'll never know who the real person behind all this is, but all we know is we need to not bump into these people, unless your up for the challenge of your account getting deleted.

These are friend requests I got from the hacker.

Spread the word about these people, so we know they're gone forever!

Thank you for reading!

Alternative Options To Keep Your Account Safe

Stardoll users have become very crafty with new ideas to have fun on Stardoll, but unfortunately some members abuse these ideas and use it for evil.

MAKEOVERS
I'm sure everyone has heard of giving Stardoll Makeovers. That's where you would give someone your password and allow them to make-over your MeDoll. Stardoll even says themselves on their Safety Quiz *not* to fall for this trick. Users would trick others into giving them their password by providing them references, people who say "this person will not hack you". Of course, you can never be sure and you should NEVER give out your password. But what if you don't know what to do with your MeDoll, and you want a makeover?

The solution:

Stardoll now has the Camera feature. Members are avoiding getting their accounts stolen by doing "photo makeovers". Photo makeovers are where the member giving the makeover would go into your beauty parlor on their own account, do your hair and makeup, then take a picture using the camera feature. You can then easily see your makeover in their album, and you can replicate it yourself. This way, no one goes on your account but you!

PRESENTATIONS

Back a while ago, having a fancy presentation was all the craze. Everyone was so exclusive about their work. They would create a fancy presentation on Microsoft Word or they would HTML code it, and then they would ask for your password to put it on your account. The problem with this was that so many people wanted a fancy pres, they were willing to give their passwords out. Again, people tricked people by showing them "references". People were getting their accounts stolen left, right and center. Everyone wanted a cool presentation, but they had to compromise the security of their account.

The solution:

Users can now drag and drop the presentation by themselves. Also, a lot of people nowadays know how to make their own presentation. The ones who don't know, can get one for free. So many people have blogs. clubs, and accounts with presentations you can drag and drop yourself!

When I find more alternatives to keeping your account safe I will add them to this post. I hope this helped!

Time Zones: Find out when your Friends are Online

We meet amazing people on Stardoll from all across the globe. We love talking to them in chat, but in order to do so, we have to figure out when they're online. Everybody seems to live in a different time zone and two people getting on Stardoll at noon can mean two totally different times. I hope this little post can help you and your friends keep in touch, on Stardoll or elsewhere.

How to Find out when your Friends are Online
  • 1 : Find out what Country they live in. You can find out what Country a Stardoll member lives in by visiting their page. When you're on their page, just look below their suite to the left and you should see a little flag. Hover your mouse over the flag and the name of a country should appear.
If you're having trouble finding a flag on their page, just look below their medoll on the members search page.

DID YOU KNOW
 - If you don't see a flag, that means the person has decided not to share their country.
  • 2 : Find the Column that passes through their Country. Find their country on the World Map below. Then find it on the Time Zone Map. When you find it on the Time Zone Map, see what column passes through their country. Each column has a number that is either positive or negative. For example, Madagascar is in the column labeled +3.
The World Map is Below
After you find the country on the map above, find it on the map below and remember what column it's in.
If you can't read the map above, click here to see it bigger.
The Time Zone Map is Below
To visit this interactive map on the official site, click here.

My friend lives in Sweden. Sweden is in the column labeled +1.
The current UTC time right now is 3:19am (January 26th).

3:19am + 1 = 4:19am

It's 7:19pm on
January 25th right now where I live.
It's 4:19am on January 26th right now in Sweden.

Sweden is 9 hours ahead of where I live.

After you do the math once, you'll always know how many hours ahead or behind your friend is. Then you can start getting online when your friend is online. Instead of guessing what time it is where they live, you'll know. This will keep you from waiting for them to log on or wondering where they are.

Thank you for Reading!
Please do not use what I just taught you to be a creepy stalker.

How to Celebrate on Stardoll

Congratulations to mybeau69 on winning the "Happy Birthday to Me" scenery contest in E-mazingstories.

I recently celebrated my 15th birthday, not just in real life, but on Stardoll too. Celebrating online made me feel closer to my online friends. It was also a lot of fun. In this post I'll give you some ideas about you can make your special event ever more special. These will work for all kinds of events, not just Birthdays!

Ideas for Celebrating on Stardoll

  • Write about the event in your presentation
  • Dress up your doll/suite to fit the theme of the event
  • Create a contest in your club in honor of the event (ex: scenery contest)
  • Blog about it in your Stardoll blog/on blogger
  • Make a scenery depicting the event in real life

Try at least one of these ideas next time you have an event in real life worth celebrating on Stardoll. Before I conclude this post, I want to say a few things. I hope you keep these things in mind as you use the ideas...
  • Don't go overboard. You can go overboard by letting the event take over your page. If you keep it simple, you will probably get better responses.
  • Be modest. Nobody likes a person who's self absorbed, especially online. Make sure you stay modest. Don't make it all about you and don't use a lot of words that compliment yourself. People might get mad at you, even if it's true.
  • Prepare for the worst. When we celebrate, we can set our expectations really high. We might expect 20 birthday comments in our guestbook, but we have to play it cool. Use this as a chance to figure out who your real friends are. You can't take it personally if you don't get the responses you were hoping for.
I know those last three bullet points were kind of negative, but I think they were necessary. If it makes you feel any better, I got great feedback during my birthday week. I played it cool, went simple and used the ideas above. You're event will go great too, I just know it!

Thank you for Reading!
If you have any more ideas for celebrating on Stardoll, share them in the comments.

A Guide to Reporting and False Reporting

The ability to report other Stardoll users is a wonderful way to keep Stardoll a safe online community, but it's a little more complicated then you might think. Today I'm going to discuss something very important you should know about the Reporting feature, it's called: False Reporting. I hope you read closely, because this is very important.

The Basics

You can find the Reporting button on almost every page throughout Stardoll. Look for the symbol when you see behavior breaking Stardoll Rules. A pop up window will guide you through the reporting process.

Below are the Stardoll ONE STOP RULES taken directly from the Help page:
"When you are at Stardoll you must NOT:

- Swear, use sexually graphic terms or make racist remarks.
- Bully other Stardolls or in other ways make them feel uncomfortable.
- Ask other Stardolls for personal information (or give out your own) such as (but not limited to) password, email, name on Skype, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram or similar.
- Post external links (such as photos, videos, chat rooms etc).
- Make private deals to trade items, trade/sell/buy accounts or sell items for more than the limit of 600 Stardollars.
- Type your password anywhere except in the log in box on Stardoll.com or change your email to any email address that does not belong to you.
- Break the law at Stardoll or talk others into breaking it.
- Claim you belong to the Stardoll Staff. There is no employee code so, do not ask for or claim to have one.
- Create or design items that may be offensive to others, including (but not limited to) smoking, weapons and drugs.

Breaking any or more of the ONE-STOP-rules will result in the closure of your membership with no chance of refund."

   Reporting Tips
  1. Read the ONE STOP RULES on the Stardoll Help page before making any report. You must be educated so that you are better aware of the actions of others and yourself. This will prevent you from making false reports and from accidentally breaking Stardoll rules.
  2. Only make reports when you have Proof. That means reporting crimes directly and not reporting people just because someone asks you too.
  3. Count to Ten before Reporting. Be sure that you're not angry or upset when you report someone. Never leave Stardoll a frantic, scrambled or immature comment included with the report. It will make your report less credible.

All about False Reporting

Stardoll says, "Making false reports or any other abuse of this function may result in termination of your account." Staff is very serious about this, so be 100% positive that what you are reporting is breaking Stardoll rules. You must report the crime directly. That means if someone asks for your password in chat, you must report that user in the chat window. If you report the user in her suite, there is no proof of a crime and therefore it may be considered a false report.

Conclusion: A false report includes any report without direct proof, so report the crime directly or your account could be terminated.

On the topic of false reporting, I want to bring up a popular way of getting revenge and justice. Although it seems good in theory, it's not always effective or safe. You may know of this as "Report lists", "Hacker lists" or something similar. Basically, a report list is any list of 1 or more Stardoll users who should be reported. Usually the creator of these lists tells everyone to report the people listed. It seems a harmless way of giving these accused hackers and rule breakers what they deserve, but here are some reasons it's a bad idea.
  • There is no proof that a person on the list deserves to be reported. You are just taking the word of a random person online, which means you don't know if it's true, so you could be reporting an innocent person.
  • If you report the person on the list without proof (aka you're not reporting a direct crime), then you're false reporting. Therefore, you're putting your own account at risk of being terminated.
  • If the report list is posted on Stardoll and it includes links to proof, then the list itself is breaking Stardoll rules by posting external links. Which means the creator of the list doesn't understand the Stardoll Rules them-self and probably shouldn't be taken seriously.
Conclusion: Do not report a Stardoll user just because you're told to. It's false reporting and could put your account at risk!

FriendFeed Discourages Rule Breaking

I want to praise Stardoll Staff for this newest addition to Stardoll. If you haven't become aware, there is now a purple bar on the left side of your Stardoll page. When you click on the arrow, it opens a sidebar which displays your Friends' most recent activity. Now you will see what your Friends are up to, and they can see what you're doing too.
At first I was not happy about this new feature, because it makes Stardoll more like a social network. It means nothing you do can be hidden from your friends. It makes it easy to track your activity and takes away some of our privacy. For this reason exactly, this new feature is great.
With the addition of this rule, our friends will know who we're messaging and when we buy items. This is discourage people from scamming, because they can't hide their actions. I think that friendfeed will make Stardoll a safer place.
People's friends will notice if they exhibit suspicious behavior, and then hopefully they will question it. I think the shame and disapproval from friends is enough to make a person think twice before they break the rules.
I'm excited to see this new addition to Stardoll improve the community and make the amount of scamming, hacking and rule breaking decrease.

Thank you Stardoll...
And Thank you for Reading!

It's time for celebration on Stardoll, with the amazing achievement of 250 million users. I received a beautifully colored message in my inbox and when I clicked on the message I was taken to another page with lots of free gifts and offers.
All Stardoll users can claim 2 free gifts which were purple and blue balloons (shown in the featured picture with my medoll) and a pretty light purple and white necklace. Members can also claim 250 free starcoins and members without Superstar membership can become Superstar for 1 day. Stardoll is also offering 25% more stardollars and 100 extra Superstar days with the purchase of a 12 month membership.
I wanted to share these free gifts and offers with you, so I encourage you to check your inbox and join in the celebration. This is also a great opportunity to thank you personally for being a part of the Stardoll Community. Without you and members like you, my little Blog wouldn't have a purpose.

Is the Stardoll Employee Code Real?

Is it Real?
NO.

The Employee code isn't real. It is a scam.
The point of the scam is that you change your password to letters and numbers that a stranger on the internet claimed to be the code. Then, You email your username to their E-mail. The person now knows your username, and your password because you changed it to what they wanted you to change it to. Instead of being an employee, you got scammed and lost your account.

I googled, is the employee code real, and this came up:

-
This person and the person above type the same. "Lizzy" claims to be staff now.

This answer explains it all very well.

If a person claims to be a stardoll employee, they should have this:
If they don't, then they're lying.

BUT-
Is the employee code even real? No. It's not.
If you want to work at stardoll, you have to fill out an application.

Stay SAFE!

Tips On Getting Your Suite Lots Of Views

I know it can sometimes be very difficult to get your page a steady flow of visitors. Here is a couple tips and tricks on how you can get tons of visitors everyday!

KNOW PEOPLE

  • Make friends with people by writing in their guestbook. Other users will see that you're kind and sociable.
  • Hang around popular Stardoll user's pages, such as Callie.Stardoll, and other users that have recently won Covergirl, Catwalk, and any other contests.
  • Have users in your bestfriends, and be in someone else's best friends list. This shows that you're not some noob, and people can get to know you.

BE OPEN TO EVERYBODY
  • Write in other people's guestbook kind, personalized messages. Such as 5/5, and then mention something that you liked particularly in someone's suite. They will most likely go to your page and vote you back.
  • Write a presentation that either tells about your interests, so people can see if they have things in common, or write something engaging and mysterious, something they will want to ask you about.
  • Don't be rude. If someone is bothering you, politely messaging them to stop is appropriate. If other users see you've written something rude in someone's guestbook, you'll either get reported, lots of hate messages, or both.

LOOK LIKE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING
  • Don't have a messy, noob suite. People are less likely to talk to you if you look to be a very young kid, somewhat unintelligent, and like you don't know what you're doing.
  • The headshot of your MeDoll is what user's will see first. Try not to make it ugly, or weird looking. Sometimes your MeDoll's headshot comes out a bit strange, when your MeDoll really is pretty, but just take that into consideration.
  • Try typing with great grammar and spelling. People don't like to talk to ppl whu typ lyk dis. Even if you're not good at spelling and grammar, always try your best!

I hope these helped, it's just some things I've picked up on my many years on Stardoll (:

How to Handle your Last Days of Superstar Membership

How do you handle your last days of
Superstar Membership?

Read these tips and they'll help you find peace of mind during this very stressful time before you're
no longer a Superstar member.

Think about all your Superstar features that normal members can't do and decide which features you will miss most. You need to focus on getting these features ready and enjoying them before they're gone. Some superstar features include; StarBazaar, Creating Parties, Special Dress ups, More Rooms in Suite, 100 Pages of Album, and more.

StarBazaar is one of the best Superstar features in my opinion. It's a source of money and a source of buying out of store items. This is a good way to spend your last days of superstar, because you can easily get more money to spend on other features.

How to Prepare your StarBazaar:
* Keep your Bazaar stocked 24/7. As soon as something is purchased, put a new item back on the shelf. The more for sale, the more chance something else will be bought.

* Check to see what's not Selling. If an item isn't selling as fast as the others, then remove it and replace it with a different item or lower the price a bit.

* Sell the items you don't want for reasonably low prices. Users will buy the cheap items faster and it will add up to lots of money in a short amount of time.

* Sell your rares for slightly higher then they're worth prices. Users usually don't buy up rares as quickly, so pricing it higher will make up for the time it isn't purchased.

* Focus on earning Stardollars. Sell as much as you can in Stardollars, because you can easily earn Starcoins when you're nonsuperstar. Stardollars are worth more.

* Advertise like crazy. Broadcasting is not a good idea in times like this. It costs money and that means you have to sell more to make up for it. Instead, advertise for FREE by clicking on Broadcasts and posting in guestbooks. Entice the reader with BOLD TEXT AND CAPITALS and use the terms "Cheap, rares, all must go, etc."

   If you prepare your StarBazaar correctly and follow the tips above, then you should make a ton of money. With the money you make in StarBazaar, you can;

  • Create your Final Parties and say goodbye to Party Friends.
  • Buy more rooms to make up for the ones taken away while you're nonsuperstar. (I suggest moving your items out of your superstar rooms before they're closed so you can use them.)
  • Purchase any last superstar items/StarBazaar items on your wishlist that you won't be able to as a nonsuperstar member.
  • If you can think of any more ways to spend your earnings, feel free to post them in the comments!

Thank you for reading and I hope these tips help you! ♥

Anonymous Interview: Through a Non-Superstars Eyes

They take up a majority of Stardoll and they can be identified by the pink ribbon around their page. They don't have a shiny star or diamond, but that's all that separates them from the rest. Non-superstars. Do you judge them differently?

Comment your thoughts on the subject.

Well, here's the opinion of 1 Non-superstar. She requests to stay anonymous, but take her opinion seriously.  This is the stardoll world through a Non-superstar's eyes.

Q's and A's:

Q: How long have you been on stardoll, have you ever been a superstar?
A: I have been on stardoll for 2 years now, since 2011. No, I have never been a superstar.

Q: Are you rich? Why won't they let you get a superstar?
A: Not rich rich. My parents do have a lot of money though. That's not the issue. I can't find one.

Q: Would you be superstar if you had the chance?
A: Hm, I have always wanted to be, so yes.

Q: What's your opinion on superstar membership?
A: Well, Ss, all that it gives you is a few more royalties. I personally think there is no point in it. Just because you get some 'star' it doesn't mean your going to be treated any different. Okay, a few more royalties, that's all. Nothing else. It doesn't afford you unity, not like non-ss does.

Q: Are all superstars the same, does becoming superstar change a persons views?
A: Hm...Sometimes it does.

Q: How would you change if you became superstar?
A: I would have better clothing, but I wouldn't change from the inside. I would probably change my point of view , though.

Q:
Should superstars and non-superstars be judged differently?

A: Never! They should be treated EXACTLY the same. All the difference is, that superstar have a golden star. JUST a symbol, nothing else. Everybody should be treated fairly. Never, ever, ever, should they be treated anyhow differently. That is called being unfair.

Q: How are non-superstars treated different from superstars?
A: The way that they are treated is despicable. They get treated like they aren't human, like they have no feelings. They hurt them more, for the way they look. And superstar, they get all of the opposite things I have said.

Q: How do you believe a stardoll member should be judged?
A: I don't think stardoll should be judge at all. Although, for a competition, I believe they should be judged by their work. Ex: Miss E-mazingstories shouldn't be judged for what they look like, but for their work . I understand, that is snobby, some people work very hard for that , and they don't get it.

Q: Is superstar membership unfair?
A: Not really. You pay for it, so no it is fair.

Q: Does having superstar make your medoll better then non-superstar's medolls?
A: Not really. No superstars tend to be prettier, because superstar gives you the royalty into buy lots of makeup, making you wear lots of it. And non-superstars look more natural.

Q: What if the superstar is prettier then the non-superstar?
A: No matter what, they should NEVER be treated differently. Whether they're prettier, doesn't mean that they should be treated differently. So, Never, Ever, Ever!

Q: Don't you think it's fair that in a beauty contest, the 'prettier' superstar be chosen?
A: Well. I suppose so.. If the rules are prettier. But not just for Superstar.

Q: What makes a medoll beautiful?
A: Well, their personality. Not their looks.

Q: Why, when voting, do people tend to choose superstars over non-superstars?
A: Apparently, because they are 'prettier'.

Q: If it were a contest, for example, covergirl, what's your opinion on judging?
A: Well, covergirl, It's a hard one. From that view, I think they should be judged ONLY then by their clothing. Simply because that is was covergirl is about. But not always. It should be judged by their personality, too. Because that is your opinion, too.

Q: What about their Medoll itself, for example, their face/hair?
A: Well, I think it's your opinion. You vote them, if you like how they look, and their personality. End of Story.

Q: How do you think superstars feel about your opinion?
A: I think they will agree with my recent answer, but not with my non-superstar views.

Q: What is your message to superstars who judge non-superstar?
A: Don't judge them. because at the end of the day, it is just a web.

Debate
This is a good nature debate between, an anonymous non-superstar and a superstar, me.

Anon: I totally agree with *Username 1*, she hasn't had her time, so it was her time then, but as she's not 'pretty' in other girls words, they never chose her. Apparently, somebody said why they chose *Username 2*: "Cos' she's the prettiest and she's superstar" I'm not going to reveal who said that. I just believe non-superstars should be treated just like Ss.

Me: It's all majority opinion. *Username 2* was voted by a majority. It's all opinion. Whatever the reasons- they have a right to pick a favorite. In my opinion, superstar isn't an unfair advantage. I've seen STUNNING non superstars. It just takes practice to be beautiful. They shouldn't be treated the same, because if a person wants to put in the effort and funds to improve, let them. However I dislike when people favor them just because of the star, I think it's just a symbol. It's what they do with the star that matters.

Anon: You don't understand! I don't want to be pretty, I want the rights to be RIGHT. For once, I'm sticking up for non-superstar. Your right there. A symbol that's all.

Me: What do you mean? I mean, a symbol is just that, you shouldn't judge a person as better then the other just by the symbol. But you also shouldn't think of a superstar less, because they're somehow cheating. If a person spent the money and time to be a better version of them self- they deserve it. You should judge the doll, if the superstar doll appears prettier, why should you count it out?

Anon: I mean, non-superstars should be treated equally. All that 'star' is, is just a symbol. They dress up, beautifully, and us non-superstars ? We don't have the right for that. Just because they LOOK nice, doesn't mean they are nice. And to be honest, most superstars are just completely and utterly snobby, just by their looks. However, non-superstars, they don't care how they look - as they don't  have that privilege to have those things. It's like - Rich people - they're mostly snobby, and poor - they aren't. 90% Of Rich'ies are snobby, and the other poor 10%? They are not. Understand?

Me: That's a stereotype. Yes, there are snobby rich people, but you don't have to be rich to be superstar. I'm nowhere near rich. A person could buy a million superstar cards, but it takes talent to be beautiful, not money.
Anon: Exactly! Then why judge Us by even trying? We try so hard, and nobody accepts us.

Me: I'm just saying that, non superstars can be beautiful too, it takes talent, not money. They shouldn't hate on superstars as being all rich and snobby. It's not unfair that they spent money. People can work hard for money and for their stardoll.

Anon: Ugh. No Superstars ever understand.

Me: You can help me understand and I can share my side. We can help each other. I really want to hear your side and understand exactly how you feel. Because I think I understand you more then you think.

Stardoll has a Dark Side, They Blog about it.

I was reading through this site today and I think it's a very helpful, education site. It's kind of harsh, so I didn't agree with everything but it is very good. It's kind of eye opening. It shares very good advice with you are all kinds of things on Stardoll. From hackers to silly mistakes and must know facts about the latest scams to watch out for!

What kind of person am I dealing with?

There are endless traits and even more kinds of people. You never know who you're talking to online, even on stardoll, which we assume is for young girls. Since it is for young girls, that's all the more reason to be careful because they are easy targets for people who aren't young girls. Maybe the person you talk to isn't a young girl, maybe she's an older girl trying to trick you or even an old man. This thought should always be on your mind before you share information or get to friendly with a stranger.
Stardoll is really friendly and accepting, which is why it's so fun to talk to girls around the world. I think part of Stardoll is talking to strangers, but talking isn't all bad. Just never let your guard down. You should always be thinking...

What kind of person am I dealing with?

Sometimes people give you signs to answer this question. Maybe these signs I give you will help you decide what kind of person you're talking to on Stardoll. Even if someone isn't giving off these signs, they could be an expert! Of course, everybody's different and these can't be for sure...

You could be talking to a little kid if:

  • She doesn't have good spelling or grammar.
  • She is easy to give away her own information.
  • She doesn't understand certain things you say.
  • She talks about childish interests.
  • She is naive and moody.
  • She doesn't use text lingo or mature language.
  • Her page is simple, colorful and all of above.
You could be talking to a teenager if:
  • She uses text lingo or mature language.
  • She has pretty good grammar and spelling.
  • She talks about mature things, social networks, not childish things.
  • She isn't naive but may be moody or sarcastic.
  • She doesn't have childish items in her suite or doll.
  • Her page is fancy, complex, organized and all of above.
You could be talking to an adult if:
  • She uses words like "sweetie, darling, etc."
  • She uses great grammar and spelling.
  • She is very calm, cool and collected.
  • She uses mature language or talk about adult activities.
  • She acts like she's speaking to children constantly.
  • She speaks of or refers to having a partner.
  • Her medoll looks like an adult doll not a teenager doll.
  • Her page is organized, neat and all of above.
You could be talking to a scammer/predator if:
  • They constantly are wanting to talk about you/real life.
  • They ask for info or username on other websites.

In Second is Stardoll User: princessnazy123

In First is Stardoll User: Mrs.Padalecki

Mrs.Padalecki wrote a short story to the prompt "A story about a girl who shared personal information on Stardoll with a stranger and what happened because of it" and I'd like to share it with you, just read below:

Bonnie was a girl, she used Stardoll every day, her profile was open it shared allot of her favorites and her first and last name. One day someone contacted her on Stardoll asking her for more information. Bonnie was foolish and agreed sending her details to the other Stardoll user. Bonnie didn't think much of it at all until she had a stranger show up at her door. It was a girl around the same age as Bonnie. "Hello." She said in a very mellow voice. "Hi?" Bonnie arched an eyebrow. Suddenly the strange girl through a punch slamming the side of Bonnie's head colliding it into the doorway. "Who are you?" Bonnie held the bleeding slit on the side of her head as she knelled on the ground. "Kitten90r." The girl bent down and hissed in Bonnie's face before kicking her in the gut, then again and again.
Kitten90r was a friend of the Stardoll user that asked and received Bonnie's details. Kitten90r was also a girl who Bonnie had argued with in a club, the fight the two had online was fierce and it ended with Kitten90r making the remark. "I will get you."

This is an interview with the Contest winner Mrs. Padalecki:

Q1: What was your inspiration other then the prompt, for writing the winning short story?
~Well I did think allot about people threatening others over the internet would possibly lead to that persons threat actually coming true if they really wanted to find you. So I guess that was it.
Q2: How big of a problem is sharing information online today and do you think its a problem on Stardoll?
~It has increased in seriously recently because society is allot more dependent on computers and the internet. Stardoll does have rules against sharing information and has good precautions and a way about stopping people who are suspicious on Stardoll.
Q3: What do you think people should know about when they share information?
~Most of the major risks that can happen and perhaps evidence to things like that happening on websites like Facebook
Q4: Have you ever shared information online and what was the effect?
I have never shared by address but have given my name and Facebook to a girl I met on Stardoll, the effect wasn't anything negative we are now Facebook friends and both look like legitimate people too each other.
Q5: What do you think is okay to share online?
Your name and country and sometimes age. I think those aren't very major details but it lets people you are communicating with online have a little more idea about you. I personally would rather talk to someone who I knew their name and country then someone who was completely anonymous, it looks very suspicious when someone is that covered up even if they are just keeping safe.
Q6: How do you know who to trust online?
Admins of large websites and creators (Like those on Stardoll)
Q7: Any last advice for anyone who might be reading?
Make sure you have fun online but keep safe but don't completely lock yourself up all the outcomes of sharing minor details aren't always negative and you can actually make good friends from all around the world. :)

Thank you for reading and be sure to say Congrats to Mrs.Padalecki! Have a cyber safe day! :)

This is the Proof it's Fake:

Taking Things Back

It's really hard to make decisions for your club, but it's even harder to take them back. People may get angry with you. They may question you. That's all right. I've taken back quite a few big decisions. It's also important to make the best decisions, the first time. So here are some ideas on how to make good choices for you club.
  • Don't make big decisions on a whim, think about them over night and create them the next day.
  • Ask your members what they think, have a survey or just ask around. Keep in mind, that you should do what you are happy with too.
  • Mention while you're doing it that you're unsure if it will stay forever, so they will have been warned you might take it away.
  • Post it when nobody's on, then just look at it. You'll get a feel for what it will be like and then decide if it's good. If not, you just delete it.
I have made a lot of decisions for my club. I've had big contests, advertising programs, clubs based on my main club and positions for members. My club has come a long way. I've taken back two big things that come to mind. Those things are: Having less Special Managers and Removing PinknMe as Co-Owner.

 1) I decided to have less Special Managers because I wanted it to be more special. I want it to be a few select people. Originally I had quite a few. Nearly 20. Now I have about 10 or so. I didn't just randomly do this. I had to take bad my decision gracefully. I had a contest so they could stand up for their place in the club. I explained how sorry I was and how lucky I was that they accepted in the first place. I would be sad to see them go, but I knew they'd all be back some day.

 2) Another thing I took back was PinknMe as Co-Owner of E-mazingstories. She was my sister, I thought it was perfect. I would remind her to be active. She would help me. Nope. She did nothing. Sometimes that's what happens. Members want a position until they get it. Then they slack. PinknMe wasn't active at all. She did nothing a Co-Owner should do, so I had to remove her... but I'd already made a big stink about her being there. I made a contest, a cover scenery, a poll, spot topic. I decided to just remove her without a word. Nobody even noticed. It was lucky. I think they didn't notice because she never went anyway!

Sometimes people do notice what you've taken back. They don't understand or they don't want it to be true. They can get angry. I've had a few angry members before, but it kind of lets me know who the nice people are. One of my Special Managers turned not so nice on my yesterday. She proved to me that I made the right choice, to down grade her.

 When dealing with Angry Members:
  • Explain yourself nicely.
  • Don't fight back by insulting or swearing. They have a report button too.
  • You can decide if you want to report them if they swear or insult you.
  • Taking screen shots for later is what I always do. (I told this girl I had proof she cursed and she said "I never cursed".)
  • Keep your calm, that's what nice about the internet, you can control what you say. So keep it nice and clean!
  • Don't lie to her.
Thank you for Reading, I hope this was Helpful! :)

Fixing "Bad" Language

Stardoll tries to keep everyone in line, but doesn't it always seem like when you actually say bad words they don't catch it- but when you didn't say anything wrong it won't let you say it? It can be frustrating. I'm going to share some tips on how to figure out where they think you said "Bad" language. Just keep reading.

Let's say you just pushed post and Stardoll stopped you with the very familiar message:
(I just have to add in there to prove my point, that when I was posting a semi naughty word so I could copy and paste the message about bad language that appears, it let me post it! It let me post another bad word as well! Stardoll... shame on you... anyway... back to the tip.)

There are a couple things you could do, but the first thing I always do is check chat. If someone is online, then follow this tip. I'll give an example.
1: Copy what you want to post but can't
2: Paste it in Chat with someone
3: Ask them to tell you where the stars are (Stars are what will show up when Stardoll detects bad language. They look like this: ****)
4: They might reply with something like this. I'll give an example. Your original text you sent to them: That's extra awesome! What they replied with: That'* **tra awesome!
5: Find that point in your writing and fix it. (More tips on fixing it below.)

If nobody is on chat then you can do two things. You can check your writing, but if it's really long then I suggest going to a guestbook. Guestbooks allow you to post bad words, but they star them out. Just post it in a guestbook (Delete whatever is over the max of Characters) and look for stars. If there aren't any in part of it, you'll need to find another guestbook and post the rest. When you find the stars you'll just need to fix it.

Tips for Finding "Bad" language:
- Look for the following: Words that end what s and the following word starts with ex, example: Those games excited me! Words that end with t and the following word starts with it, example: I love that it's summer! Those 2 get me a lot.
- Scam the text for the ends of words and beginning of other words. Look for curse words, slang words and anything you might suspect. I've come across: jumped open, mama sshhh!! You have to look really closely.
- After you fix something, try re-posting it. That way you don't fix something else when you can already post. If it's still bad, keep looking.

Tips for Fixing "Bad" language:
- Replace similar letters with symbols. Examples: a's with @'s, i's with !'s, o's with 0's, etc.
- Put stars on purpose. Examples: Drama* **citing, don'* **'s
- You could find another font online that Stardoll lets post. I suggest: Funky Text Generator - NameFunk.com
- You could always rephrase it. Examples: Dramas exciting to Dramas fun, don't it's to no it's.

Thanks for reading!
I hope these help you! ♥
