How to Win Contests

You've seen those really lucky people, right? The ones who win all the contests?

                   That could be you!

You don't have to be mind blowing... just do your best- and read my tips:

  - You have to stand out. Some clubs get so many entries that they don't take a second glance at ordinary. I know, as a judge of contests in my club... it's the wow factor. Sometimes you can add pops of color or something unique. If you aren't impressed with your work, the judge probably won't be either.
  - Taking your time is important. Nobody wants to see a contest entry that looks like it was thrown together. At least make it look like it took time. When filling out stuff for the contest use full sentences and don't make it super short. If you have to make a scenery, pose your medoll (examples on how to pose in my first blog post). If you don't have an hour to spend, make five minutes look like an hour.
   - Have a good Attitude. Everyone, especially the judges, will be drawn to you if you're super nice, friendly and supportive to the other entries. Say good luck and try commenting on some of the entries. The judge might have a soft spot and choose the nice person!
   - Be Active while the contest is Open. Another way to increase your chances is by being active in the club to keep your entry on the judge's mind. They'll see your post and think "Didn't that girl enter my contest? I liked that entry." It will be another way to gain a soft spot from your judge.
   - Make sure you're doing it Right. Nothing's worse for the judge to see you not following directions. They might be disappointed and remember it for the next contests too. It's better for everyone, especially you, if you read very closely and ask questions. Wasting your time isn't fun so make sure you enter it correctly.

I hope these tips help, good luck in future competitions! ♥
