Talking Stardoll Graphics with BarbieSubhi

BarbieSubhi made this graphic of my medoll and I think it's wonderful. Thank you BarbieSubhi!

If you're interested in Stardoll graphics, than you and BarbieSubhi have something in common. This Stardoll user has being creating Stardoll graphics for over a year now. In this post, you will learn from a rising star, as she shares her insight on the world of Stardoll graphics. I hope you learn something and are inspired by BarbieSubhi, to visit her on Stardoll, click here.

Q: What program does she use to make Stardoll Graphics?

BarbieSubhi uses a program called "Photoshop" to make her Stardoll graphics, because it came installed on her laptop. She's been using this program since the beginning. If you're considering downloading "Photoshop", remember to pick a site that's safe and secure. Sometimes the downloads are free for a reason.

Q: How did she learn how to make Stardoll Graphics?

BarbieSubhi's friend kcv183 taught her to make Stardoll graphics through e-mail. She is thankful to her for teaching her. She asked a lot of graphic designers to teach her, but kcv183 was the only one to accept her as a student. The good news is, one good teacher is all it takes. To visit kcv183, click here.

Q: What advice does she have for making a good Stardoll Graphic?

BarbieSubhi considers herself a beginner, but she shared some great advice with me. She said, "The most important things you need while making a graphic are: Google, Photoshop, Skills and Models." BarbieSubhi finds her models in clubs and party chats. Her favorite model is Justyannalove, to visit her on Stardoll click here. She finds inspiration for poses by searching in Google and changing them into a Stardoll graphic.

Guide On Making a Good Story

Hello, everybody! First off, I would like to say hello again. Recently, I hadn't been caught up on my school work, and I quit. But know I'm back. :)
So, how many of you have a good idea for a story, but have no idea how your going to put it on paper? Well, your in luck because I'm here to help you!

First of all, we need our gear. So, use this checklist and get all the things your going to need for writing your story.

Many of you wouldn't like to write it all down, so you type. Join the club E-mazingStories, and you'll be able to write stories in your own topic. But, I would also follow the guide below.

Writing Checklist
For Writing on Paper and Computer

WRITING ON PAPER CHECKLIST

  • Your Writing Pencil ( You need one to write! I prefer using a pencil; you can't erase with a pen. but it's your choice. )
  • Plenty of Lined Paper ( What else would you write on? )
  • A Red/Blue Pen ( For Editing )
  • Notebook/Journal/Notepad ( To sort out your idea )
  • A snack and Drink. ( You'll be writing for a while, so you'll get hungry. )

TYPING ON THE COMPUTER CHECKLIST

  • A snack and Drink. ( Might get Hungry! )
  • A Computer/Laptop
  • Join E-mazingStories ( Which I prefer ) and create a topic for your story. ( A space to write in )

The Writing Steps We Will Be Taking

For Both Computer and Paper

First Step: Getting Prepared

First, you should find a quiet place in your house such as your room. You'll be sitting for a while, so wear something comfortable.  Once you've settled down with your snack, drink, and writing materials, bring out your journal and pencil. Start writing down the idea for your story. Once you have, start writing your characters, settings, you know, like that. You should really write down all your info about about story and sort it out. Next you should be able to start writing your rough draft!

For you guys on the computer, here's what you should do to get prepared. Sit in a quiet room, and dress up in a comfortable outfit. Log into Stardoll and join the club E-mazingStories. Create a topic. (  STORY: Your Title ) Now you have a space to write in!

Second Step: Starting Your Story

Now that you've finally wrote down your idea for the story and sorted it all out,you should be able to get to work on your rough draft for your story. You will have the rough draft so you can edit spelling, grammar, or just add new things and delete some. Now. The writing! You don't have to write super neat, remember, it's only a draft!

For computers, you won't actually have a rough draft; but your welcome to edit any time you want. Your rough and final copy will sort of be merged together until you edit all errors, get rid of a few words or sentences, or maybe add new things. Make sure once you finish one post, you should always look for something you need, or need to get rid of. That way, once you finish your entire story, you won't have to go threw the entire thing to edit, which may take a LONG time!

Third Step: Finishing Up Your Procedures For Your Story

While your writing your story, you should always ask others to read it and give you feedback. They may notice things you have not. You should never be afraid to ask for help; others will be reading your story sometime, so why not they help you? After your rough draft, start editing with your friends our family with your red/blue pen.

Once you have, use your rough draft to write your final copy. Add your cover and back, and slap it on! Now, you have a great story, fully finished, no errors. Hope You Like it!

Your final step for those of you on the computers is to make sure you've edited correctly on each of your posts, and you haven't skipped any. Once you have, you'll be able to sit back, read your story, and read others's comments about your story! :)

Post in the Comments how your story turned out! I can't wait to hear from you guys. :)

Replicating Real Spring Fashion on Stardoll

Today, I'm here to talk about the latest Spring fashion styles and how you can make them on Stardoll. We're focusing on skirts, but almost any outfit can be replicated on your medoll. Let this post be your inspiration and guide to do so.

Pastel tube 12sd
Royal Magenta Maxi Skirt 12sd

Style 1: Maxi Skirts

I recommend a Maxi Skirt. They are very popular this year and Stardoll has a lot of them. I suggest a matching top. Try to pick similar looking fabrics that are light, airy and flowy.

In the photo to the left, user E-mazing replicates a Spring outfit shown right, using "Pastel tube 12sd" and "Royal Magenta Maxi Skirt 12 sd". You can do the same for a total of 24sd. Check the starplaza and you'll see that there are many more Maxi inspired outfit combinations!

Style 2: White Lace

I recommend a white laced skater skirt. It's basic color and unique texture makes it very versatile and look good with a lot. Stardoll has lots of white skirts, but only a few quite like a white laced skater skirt. No matter, it's still a must-have this Spring.

Clean Cut Shirt 19sd
Woven Copper Belt 42sc
Klara Skirt 14sd
In the photo to the left, you can see how user E-mazing replicated this real outfit on her medoll using:
  • Clean cut shirt 19sd
  • Woven Copper belt 42sc
  • Klara skirt 14sd
You can have this look for a total of 33sd and 42sc. I'm sure this would look good on all you beautiful ladies!

Bonus Style: In Spring everyone loves flowers, and this season they're definitely in. Try to include floral patterns and accessories in your Spring wardrobe this year. Usually one floral item is enough to make the whole outfit a success.

Fashion Interview | Ft. missjas222

What's up y'all, it's yours truly, Krissy, & I'm back again with missjas222 (Jas) on an interview based on one of my favorite things..
FASHION!
I decided to get the inside scoop on what Fashion means to her. Let's take a look.

Q. #1: What is your definition of fashion?
A: Can you really define fashion, or a person's unique style? Because that is ultimately what fashion is - It's the way people can express themselves in a creative manner that's individual and original to them; Yes people follow the latest trends & styles, but I believe that everyone adapts that in their own way and their own unique interpretation of that.

Q. #2: What is your personal style & why?
A: My style is chic, classy, and sophisticated - I like incorporating that element of Vintage classic in my outfits as well as keeping it modern and elegant. I have always generally loved these types of styles because they're classic, but you can always add your own spin to it, which I think is very important to do. The fashion and outfits you put together have to be just that - Put by you and expressing your own creative style! :)

Q. #3: Did you get inspired by any celebrities or persons in particular to figure out what your style was? If so, who, & why?
A: I don't think I have a single celebrity that has inspired me as I see something. My instant response would be, "Ooh, that's nice." or, "Ooh, that would be great with.." And that has developed my style, because I have become aware of what I like and how I can adapt it to build my style. I love adapting colors into my style and outfits as that expresses my creativity and love for color.

Q. #4: Do you plan to have a career in your future that centers around fashion?
A: I like to keep my options open. A pathway in fashion sounds great, however, something I do know is that my love for fashion will be with me in whatever job I do! :)

Q. #5: Do you have any tips or advice to give about style or fashion?
A: Do not be afraid to express your own creative and unique style - Wear what you want to wear, and be original. Never feel that you can't. Dress how you want!

Well that's it for now! Thanks Jas for your time to participate in this interview!

Callie's Picks | Punk Princess - No.14

Hello, everyone! As you know, the 14th round of Callie's Picks came in a few days ago. To me, the outfits on the mannequins are the real definition of fashion. All the pieces go together like a puzzle, to produce the perfect look. If you want to purchase some of these fine items, be sure to save up, because you know Callie's Picks don't stay for long. In my opinion, the blue bedazzled skirt is flawless. The colors match nicely, & the sequins gave it a more glamorous look. What do you think of this round of Callie's Picks? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!

Stardoll Story: The Pinkitas

Hello readers, this is my first post on this blog, and I would like to say thank you to E-Mazing for letting me work with this amazing team or writers. If you don't know, I'm stargazl_04 on Stardoll.

Today's story is about the spoiled group, The Pinkitas. Now if you know, then great. If you don't, then sit back, relax, and enjoy the post. Even if you already know, keep reading.

Before I get on with all of the twenty trolls, let me tell you about one, SpoiledLittleMe. If you didn't knew, here's what she looked liked:

Apparently, her name was Mai and she planned to take over Stardoll on her birthday. If you look closely at the comments on the first image, you see one that says that her mother was twelve when Mai was born. When it was her birthday, nothing happened on Stardoll AT ALL. Days after 'Takeover Day', Mai got deleted.
Mai wasn't the only deleted one though, seventeen others were deleted as well. The only three were Chubby Chick, VixonVampires (deactiviated), and an unknown one, which was assumed to be SourSweetberry. ChubbyChick is still on, so click here to visit her. On her presentation, it says this:

I was curious, so I decided to visit SD.True.Royals. Apparently, it was for this thing called Stardoll True Royals, which I assume it's a blog. Although The Pinkitas are not on Stardoll, apparently they claim to be on this website called Moviestar Planet. Mostly, they are on Stardoll's Wikia. Well, that's the story. Hope you liked it. :)

Tell me what you thought about in the comments, and you can ask for some stories to be posted. Until next time....

The Complete Guide To Being A *Successful* Stardoll Model

'Modeling' on Stardoll has been a recent trend. And, like all trends on Stardoll, it seems to come out of nowhere, and then people start to loose interest. A quick way to get popular and noticed on Stardoll is to be a main supplier of these trends, promote these trends, or just be really good at it.

Let's take 'presentations' for example. Last year, people were going absolutely insane over the new trend of having a presentation with a background, scroll boxes, fancy fonts and symbols etc. The reason there aren't as many presentation accounts now is because everyone has one of these presentations, and they know how to make their own new one if they get bored of their current one. Its just so abundant on Stardoll now that its expected, and no longer unique.

That's why the Modeling trend on Stardoll is so unique. Modeling is something so many people want to do! And, like presentation making, wig making, designing etc., modeling does take skill. But, unlike those other trends,  modeling cannot be mass-produced. There will always be something original because you can't create a whole bunch of modeling sceneries for others to use in competitions. It's a unique and original experience, and will go on until the clubs that support and organize modeling clubs seize to exist. But hey, even when the user-supported modeling clubs stop, you can always contact Stardoll themselves and sign up for graphics!

So, modeling is a great way to get your skill, creativity,  thoughts, opinions, and ideas noticed! I've sectioned this guide into chapters, so if you're looking for help on a specific subject, you can skip ahead, or you can read this all through!
