Tips for Copying

I think everyone sees a really cool presentation, scenery, album or club and considers trying the format or ideas out for yourself at one point or another... sometimes it's okay and sometimes it's not. Read below for some times:

-Most clubs have contests, and I think most clubs have the same contests. If you discover a contest in another club and want to use it in your own- that's something I personally wouldn't ask to use, but I'd leave credit. I think if someone took my idea for a contest... as long as they said it was mine or did a little shoutout to join my club I'd be fine. I love helping other people get ideas! Some contests are: Scenery, MeDoll, Covergirl, Story, Poem, Invite, Active, Etc.
-Presentations and Club Presentations are pretty sensitive. Most people make them themselves and put a lot of time into them. If you copy those... it can be rude. Always ask before taking Presentations, unless it says "Take what you like" or something. Be really polite and say please and thank you! Plus, make sure you leave credit! That's a big thing!! Some Free Presentations are: PresHtml.  & Pres_pres_pres1 (Find your own by searching "pres" in the Friend Search.)
-Anything else... when in doubt- ask.

Some other tips are:
-Staying Original. Even when it's okay with the creator... still change something and make it your own. Don't keep the text the same. If a format is free and there's a quote, I'd change it because everyone else who copied that probably will have the same Quote. You can usually change the colors of font without messing up the font.
-Remember to ALWAYS leave credit. Don't think nobody will notice. They always do. You don't want to seem rude by taking it or like a lier for acting like it's yours. Even if you put nothing for credit... that's not the truth. Always put who created it. You can put it tiny at the bottom and it won't take away from the thing you copied itself.

Now... after reading this... think about your Stardoll page. Do you have anything that you copied and didn't leave credit to? How about you change it. Make it right. :)
