ISMRT: "My Rares Have Been Stolen!"

I was going to do a story on this last week, but I felt as if I didn't have enough information. I am so sorry if this post isn't as well-put-together as my other posts usually are, and I am sorry if there is any bad spelling and grammar; I need to get this out before guestbook comments are deleted and I have no evidence.

Alright, so this is what ismrt's presentation says:

SO, ismrt's presentation clearly states that rares have been stolen, then pinkinveen (our first and only suspect) writes this in her guestbook:

Not too long ago....

The level of the user that stole ismrt's items was level 52...

9/11 Tribute

Hello. As you know, or may not know, 12 years ago today, two planes hit the World Trade Center in New York.

If you don't know what happened that day, here is an article I found:

What happened that day?

On September 11, 2001, terrorists attacked the Unites States. They hijacked four airplanes in mid-flight. The terrorists flew two of the planes into two skyscrapers at the World Trade Center in New York City. The impact caused the buildings to catch fire and collapse. Another plane destroyed part of the Pentagon (the U.S. military headquarters) in Arlington, Virginia. The fourth plane crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Officials believe that the terrorists on that plane intended to destroy either the White House or the U.S. Capitol. Passengers on the plane fought the terrorists and prevented them from reaching their goal. In all, nearly 3,000 people were killed in the 9/11 attacks.

Who attacked us?

A total of 19 terrorists hijacked the four planes on 9/11. All of the men were from nations in the Middle East. They belonged to a terrorist group called Al Qaeda (ahl KAY-dah), led by Osama bin Laden. Al Qaeda practices an extreme version of the religion of Islam. The group is intensely opposed to the United States and other Western, democratic nations. They are especially against the military presence of these countries in Arab nations. Since the group’s creation by bin Laden in the late 1980s, Al Qaeda has helped coordinate and fund numerous bombings worldwide.

How did America respond to 9/11?

In October 2001, the U.S. and its allies invaded Afghanistan, where Al Qaeda was based. The extreme Islamic group that ran Afghanistan's government, known as the Taliban, was protecting Bin Laden and allowing Al Qaeda to run training camps in the country. U.S.-led forces soon brought down the Taliban. They are are still working to help rebuild and stabilize the nation. Since 2001, many Al Qaeda members have been captured or killed. On May 1, 2011, U.S. troops killed Bin Laden where he was hiding in Pakistan.

The U.S. invaded Iraq in 2003. Then President George W. Bush and other U.S. leaders believed that the country’s dictator, Saddam Hussein, was hiding terrible weapons that could be given to terrorists. Hussein was captured and later put to death by an Iraqi court. No weapons of mass destruction were found.

How did America change after 9/11?

Following 9/11, the U.S. government took many steps to try to make the country safer. It tightened security at airports and in public buildings. A new cabinet-level department—the Department of Homeland Security—was created. It works to protect the United States from terrorism.

Stardoll History & Changes!!

Stardoll was not always the huge fashion community that it is today. Actually, it wasn't always Stardoll. I always visited the site in 2006 to dress up dolls.

Here are some of the differences between the old and new Stardoll.

♥Name,History and layout♥

Stardoll started out as Paperdoll Heaven in 2004. In 2004-2006 dress-up doll sites were EXTREMELY popular. Ads were everywhere for paperdoll dress-up sites, competing for the most popularity. There were no "members" on Paperdoll Heaven until 2006. Still, it was a small site where you could dress up and save dolls. Not your own, just celebrities. No superstar memberships, no currency. Yet. I was on Paperdoll Heaven frequently, dressing up my favorite dolls.

In March 2006, the name was changed from Paperdoll Heaven to Stardoll!

Stardoll created it's famous logo and started the community. Instead of your user information at the top, it was on the left side of the screen. Just signed in users were on the right side of the screen. You could create your own medoll, but the website was still centered around dressing up celebrities.

The layout had minor changes throughout the years, but the user info was still on the left and tabs still on the top. Then came this layout, which is VERY similar to the one we have now. You could now pick a starter doll.

Here's the current layout. Similar to the last one, but more purple and it has rounded edges instead of sharp square edges.

♥ Beauty Parlor ♥

This was the beauty parlor in 2006.

♥Superstars & Currency♥

If you were a superstar it would look like this:

As you can see, it says "style medoll". That is like the beauty parlor to us.

It also only has stardollars. There were only stardollars on Stardoll until....late 2010 or early 2011.

Since there were only stardollars, the way to tell if the item was for superstars or not, there was a star next to the price tag. Sadly, most items were for superstars. There was no way for regular members to buy items with a star on it. Except for one day.

A few days into your membership in 2010, there was this day called your "superstar day". You would become a superstar for one day. You recieved I think 20 stardollars to buy whatever you want. It doesn't seem like a lot, but items in starplaza were not very expensive, so 20 was a decent amount.

♥Other Changes ♥

There was only Stardesign Fashion in 2010.

Decorating and designing your album was SUPER popular.

There were no Royalty members until early 2012 I think.

No luxury suites such as Alpine Chalet and Beach Villa

I don't remember if starbazaar was there in 2010.

Earn your daily starcoins and check out the offers. That way you'll have the maximum budget available to you and you'll be able to buy more eventually.

Check out how many Stardollars and Starcoins you have, and decide how much you're willing to spend.

I decide how many Stardollars and Starcoins I want to spend. Ask you can see, I only have around 500 Starcoins and 10 Stardollars. I am going to try my best and save Stardollars, but I am willing to spend all my starcoins. After all, you know how hard it is to freaking get back your stardollars. *Hint hint, Stardoll*
I go to the Catalog and see if there are any sales going on. Unfortunately, there are none at this time. I then check the things in the Starplaza window. Look, Wild Candy has a new collection out! (Post about THAT coming soon!*wink wink*)
I decide to buy a whole new outfit. So, I go to the Catalog and look under 'Fashion -> Tops -> Starcoins'

The Deciding Process (WWD)

Would This Item Look Good With Any Other Items? I really liked all these items, but I think the Purple Sky Shirt really looked the best on my MeDoll, and I know for sure I have other skirts and tights I can pair it up with.

What Is The Price Of The Item?

Now remember, if you're buying a full outfit, you're not going to want to spend all your money on only one item in the outfit. You never know if you might see a bottom, shoes, or accessory that you really love, but now you can't afford it. Even though the Purple Sky Shirt is the most expensive, there are many possibilities for it!

Does It Look Good On Your MeDoll?

I tried on all of the tops, and I loved them all. Buuuuut, it turns out that the Purple Sky Shirt was more my style and looked the best.

Now, whatever item you answered for these questions the most, is the one you should probably buy!

BUT WHAT IF I ANSWERED A DIFFERENT ITEM FOR ALL 3?

Never fear! Just go through the process again, and THINK, HARDER.

Now, using those tips and the WWD Process, I have narrowed my outfit down to this:

Top Stylish CHEAP Starcoin Outfit Picks!

Not having Stardollars seems to be one of the biggests problems Stardoll faces today. With so many new members, there honestly is no way to get Stardollars without either

1. Buying them

2. Using the ones you get from Yearbook activities (which you WILL need to complete the next task, so they don't last long at all)
or

3. Selling things in your bazaar. (Which we all know, non-superstars don't have this option)

What Stores Sell Starcoin Items?
First off, get to know what stores offer Starcoin items. Most stores do, but there are a few that don't such as: Limited Edition, Antidote, Archive, Hot Buys, and most other designer/limited edition/collector brands.

Unfortunately the stores that DO sell some Starcoin items often don't have very good selection.

There is a store, however, that sells MOSTLY Starcoin items, with the exception of like 1 or 2 items: Wild Candy.
