Since E-Mazing did a similar post to this one, click here if you haven't already read it, it's really great, I thought I would make one! (: So, E-mazing, I am going to structure mine like yours! (:

Skim through your closet and beauty parlor to refresh your memory on what you own. This will help prevent you from buying items similar to items you already have. 

Earn your daily starcoins and check out the offers. That way you'll have the maximum budget available to you and you'll be able to buy more eventually.

Check out how many Stardollars and Starcoins you have, and decide how much you're willing to spend.

During:

1.  I decide how many Stardollars and Starcoins I want to spend. Ask you can see, I only have around 500 Starcoins and 10 Stardollars. I am going to try my best and save Stardollars, but I am willing to spend all my starcoins. After all, you know how hard it is to freaking get back your stardollars. *Hint hint, Stardoll*
2. I go to the Catalog and see if there are any sales going on. Unfortunately, there are none at this time. I then check the things in the Starplaza window. Look, Wild Candy has a new collection out! (Post about THAT coming soon!*wink wink*)
3. I decide to buy a whole new outfit. So, I go to the Catalog and look under 'Fashion -> Tops -> Starcoins' 
4. Hey, I kinda like these three things. I will drag them into my Dressing Room!

The Deciding Process (WWD)

• Would This Item Look Good With Any Other Items? I really liked all these items, but I think the Purple Sky Shirt really looked the best on my MeDoll, and I know for sure I have other skirts and tights I can pair it up with.

• What Is The Price Of The Item?

Now remember, if you're buying a full outfit, you're not going to want to spend all your money on only one item in the outfit. You never know if you might see a bottom, shoes, or accessory that you really love, but now you can't afford it. Even though the Purple Sky Shirt is the most expensive, there are many possibilities for it!

• Does It Look Good On Your MeDoll?

I tried on all of the tops, and I loved them all. Buuuuut, it turns out that the Purple Sky Shirt was more my style and looked the best.

Now, whatever item you answered for these questions the most, is the one you should probably buy!

• BUT WHAT IF I ANSWERED A DIFFERENT ITEM FOR ALL 3?

Never fear! Just go through the process again, and THINK, HARDER. 

Now, using those tips and the WWD Process, I have narrowed my outfit down to this:

I know I didn't buy any pants, but like E-mazing said, If something doesn't catch your eye, try again tomorrow!

Top Stylish **CHEAP** Starcoin Outfit Picks!

Not having Stardollars seems to be one of the biggests problems Stardoll faces today. With so many new members, there honestly is no way to get Stardollars without either 

1. Buying them

2. Using the ones you get from Yearbook activities (which you WILL need to complete the next task, so they don't last long at all)
or

3. Selling things in your bazaar. (Which we all know, non-superstars don't have this option)

So? How can you be stylish without spending a few stardollars? It's actually easier than you think! Read these tips to find out what stores sell Starcoin items, as well as my TOP picks from those stores!

**All Items Are Under 200 Starcoins Total**

What Stores Sell Starcoin Items?
First off, get to know what stores offer Starcoin items. Most stores do, but there are a few that don't such as: Limited Edition, Antidote, Archive, Hot Buys, and most other designer/limited edition/collector brands.

Unfortunately the stores that DO sell some Starcoin items often don't have very good selection. 

There is a store, however, that sells MOSTLY Starcoin items, with the exception of like 1 or 2 items: Wild Candy.

   Today I'm doing 2 more Presentation Reviews for members of my Club PresentYourself, but you can benefit from these Reviews too. Read my Reviews for helpful tips and advice on improving your own Presentation!

PopPartyRocks Presentation Review

First impression: This presentation is really bright and eye catching, because of the neon colored background and high contrast text in comparison. It makes me want to read it.

Format: The format is perfect, because the text is eye catching, but still easy to read. The text is not too big or small. The background/scroll-bar is a great color. I love that it doesn't overpower the text or distract from what I should be reading. Instead it enhances the content.

Creativity: The format and content isn't that creative. It's pretty simple. That's not necessarily a bad thing though. Sometimes too much creativity can leave your eyes bouncing around and not knowing where to focus. 

Content: I love the voice. I can easily understand her personality and honesty. She appears sassy without being pushy or rude and very smart for a 10 year old. She isn't sharing too much information, just enough to give us a feel for who she is. And based on the content, she sounds like a wonderful and loyal potential friend. 

Overall Opinion: I highly enjoyed this Presentation. The format was easy on the eyes and the content was really entertaining. I would rate this Presentation a 9/10.

stargazl_04 Presentation Review

First impression: It's really cute and sophisticated, but not very eye catching. There is an overload of white. I probably wouldn't read it because there isn't anything to catch my attention. 

Format: I like that the format is simple and the scroll-box blends in really well. The pink text stands out nicely and it's easy to read. The light pink text is a little too camouflaged though. I suggest a brighter text. Light colored text should only be used for dark colored backgrounds.  

Creativity: Not much creativity in content or format. It's pretty basic. I don't see this presentation taking much time to create. 

Content: The message is clear. That's good, but when you want to convey a message, I don't suggest using a scroll-box. When advertising you want to display all the information clearly and make it almost unavoidable. I suggest flashing text. Plus, the content wasn't personal. People like to vote for people who they can relate to. 

Overall Opinion: This presentation serves the only purpose to advertise, and I think it's cold and sterile. Both the format and content lack personalization, and I think that will hurt your campaign. I rate this presentation a 7/10.

FRONT ROW STORE (HISTORY)

  FRONT ROW STORE (HISTORY)

Hi! I decided to do Stardoll History lesson.This will help new members find out about how old Stardoll Stores looked and make older members remember.

I chose the "Front Row Store".Which had a really amazing concept.The concept of Front Row was to present the trends from specific fashion shows through some clothes releases from famous fashion houses.

As you will see in the pictures of the stores, it looked like a catwalk with the name "Front Row".

Unfortuantely the store was released only for Fall 2010 .

The First Collection Released on September 20, 2010:

The clothes were from New York Fashion Week

Front row : New York

Second Collection from London Fashion Week got released 3 days later on September 23, 2010.

Front Row, London:

It didn't took a lot for a third collection which was actually named as

Front Row, Milan:

This floor was released on September 28,2010

but it was not the last one.

The last floor was released on October 10, 2010:

The last floor was about Paris Fashion Week

Here is how Front Row Paris looked like:

The Store went on sale somewhere in December and then got removed.

After it was gone, the store left expectations from a Spring/Summer 2011 release,

but the truth is that Stardoll chose never to release again another Front Row Collection,

which was a mistake if you ask me cause it really was an interesting store. 

You could say that "Windows on The World" is kind of what is left to continue part of front row but it has also been re-moved.

Some Clothes of Front Row..especially from the latter floors can still be found in Starbazaar but most of them are really expensive now.

Tips for a Stunning Album (ft. cooldressing and FrostQueen9)

   Albums are one of the most custom things you can create on Stardoll, which gives you a chance to really show your talent and creativity. With these Tips, you can really enhance your Album and create something Stunning.

Tip

• Find a layout that works for your Content. To find new layouts, browse the winners of Best Albums for inspiration. Define layout: the way in which the parts of something are arranged of laid out.
• Use a Combination of features. Using a combination of text, photos, stickers, dolls, furniture and clothes will make your Album more professional and complicated- therefore more impressive. Be very careful not to Clutter the pages with multiples of each feature.
• Make text Stand out. The color of the text and the background should be high contrast (Example: Black and white). It will make the text more eye catching. Another tip is shown in the Album above: Create 2 of the same text in different colors to create a shadow.

• Zoom pictures to make an Impact. Zooming in on photos and doing close ups is a great way to create drama. Another way to make in impact is by enlarging the photo and putting one half of the photo on each side of the page so that 1 photo covers both pages. For more information about making a photo cover both pages,click this sentence of text.
• Label with page numbers. Navigating your Album will be a lot easier when you add page numbers. You can change the color and style of the page number to match the theme of the page. Enhance the page number by putting a sticker behind it. 

• Give Everything Color. Never leave the background of any page White. Your page will look a lot more Stunning when it's another color. You can enlarge items you already own to cover the whole page or you can use a poster. Posters in Stardesign Interior are very simple. Just select a color background and sew. They only cost 4 Stardollars. These square posters can be easily enlarged to cover the pages of your Album.
• Find Models with more Options. If you don't have very much Makeup or a very large Wardrobe, then try dressing up or styling other Medolls for your Album. You can hold Contests for a position as a Model, or just ask around. Looking for models is a great way to get your Album the attention it deserves.
• Table of Contents. A good way to entice people to turn the pages of your Album is by creating a Table of Contests on page 1 and/or 2. This lets them see a summary of everything that's in your Album. It's very helpful for judges of Album Contests too. A Table of Contents always is a sign that the Album creator is a professional.
• Moving Images. Try mixing it up by using items that move. Animated items are really cool, it's as simple as that. To find Animated items, go to the Catalog in Starplaza and click the purple magnifying glass to search for Animated items only. 
• Spotlight your Pages. Buy spotlights available in Starplaza to add drama and attract attention to your Album pages. Like in an Art gallery, spotlights make the viewer of your Album focus on what you want and they create wonderful atmosphere in your suite too.

Are They Really Gone From Starplaza?

Stardoll is constantly updating their stores with new items, but you still may want something that they sold quite a while ago.

This is how to find some things in Sunny Bunny that you can no longer find in the Sunny Bunny store.

These tips may also work for things you know are from a store, but you can no longer find. (:

For months and months I have been asking around for people to see if they could sell me piercings from Sunny Bunny that they no longer have In-Store.

Well, I then decided to search the catalog. As long as you know what type of item it is, you can find it easily.

I was looking for facial piercings. Here is what I did:

1. I went to the catalog. 

2. I went to Beauty

3. I clicked Jewelry

4. I clicked Face Jewelry and scrolled through until I found what I needed (:

You can apply these tips to finding things in the Shop!

**This will not find everything, unfortunately. If this does not work, search Starbazaar because that item has probably been removed**

Miss Stardoll World 2013 "Campaign Checklist"

   If you plan on entering MSW 2013, you need to start planning your campaign immediately. It is fast approaching and you don't stand a chance unless you are prepared. If you're choosing to enter, your campaign will need:

• You MUST have a Stunning and Unique Medoll in order to make it far in MSW. Your doll must stand out from the rest. You can make your doll stand out by using Stardesign Jewelry or Hair. Create unique accessories and hats in Stardesign Jewelry or create new poses and wigs for your doll in Stardesign Hair.
• You MUST send Broadcasts in order to even have a chance at winning MSW. Last year the broadcasting tool became so full Stardoll had to close it down, so when MSW opens, send your broadcasts asap. You should be willing to spend hundreds or even thousands of Stardollars. If you're not willing to spend money, you don't stand a chance. It's sad but true.
• You MUST be Friendly and Outgoing in order to get votes, so be super kind to your friends and reply to all your guestbook comments. People should want you to win just as much as you do. Make as many allies as you can who will help your campaign. 
• You MUST put MSW on all your Pages in order to keep people from forgetting you're running for MSW. Present your campaign in your Album, Sceneries, Blog, Suite, Clubs, Presentation, Medoll and more. A person should be able to visit all your pages and see MSW. 
• You MUST be dedicated and Patient in order to win MSW. Be willing to spend hours online campaigning. You will need to be patient when sending broadcasts and advertising in guestbooks. Do not get angry with anyone, because you need every vote you can get. Keep your calm and be your best self.

How to use the Stardoll Sales Method to earn MORE Stardollars

    You may have noticed a recent post by our newest blogger, Avneet Bassi, when she said: "I was looking through the [starplaza] trying to find a pair of shoes that I saw on another member and I came across [Hotbuys Lace Heels] in Fallen Angel. Stardoll has re-released these Hot Buys Lace Heels. I wonder if this was a mistake, because you cannot find them in Hot Buys Summer Retro. At least now you don't have to hunt down these shoes in Starbazaar and by them for ridiculous prices."

    This may seem like a simple observation, but if you read deeper, it leads you to an important discovery: The Stardoll Sales Method. It's been right in front of our eyes, and by using this method ourselves, we unlock many possibilities- one of those possibilities being: more revenue. That's right... more Stardollars.  In order to use the Stardoll Sales method, we must understand it. As a longtime member, I've took the time to recognize this method and now I'm going to present it to you. Here is the Stardoll Sales Method, using the Hotbuys Lace Heels as an example:

1. Hotbuys Lace Heels are released in Starplaza
Effect: Members rush to buy the shoes because they're a new item.

2. Hotbuys Lace Heels go on sale
Effect: Members rush to buy the shoes because they're on sale.

3. Hotbuys Lace Heels are removed from Starplaza
Effect: Members regret not buying the shoes and hunt for them in Starbazaar.

4. Hotbuys Lace Heels value goes up in Starbazaar
Effect: Members pay high prices for shoes in Starbazaar because they're rare.

5. Hotbuys Lace Heels are released again in Starplaza
Effect: Members rush to buy the shoes because the prize is low again. 

    If you really consider the effects of these 5 steps, you'll notice that each step causes a new, but similar, reaction. That reaction is the spending of increasingly more Stardollars. In Stardoll's case, the spending of Stardollars is the result of the buying of Stardollars. The Stardoll Sales Method is brilliant, because it encourages members to buy more Stardollars and spend more Stardollars at the same time.

    This method can easily do the same for you. I see this method being the most helpful for you when you're selling your Stardesigns in Starbazaar. In order to be successful, however, you must advertise. Follow these 5 steps, in order, and advertise each of them in as many ways as you can think. If you do it correctly, you should be swimming in cash!

Bonus Tip: Advertise your Stardesigns in your Presentation, Clubs, Scenery, Album and in other Members' guestbooks. Use CAPS and exciting words and phrases like "NEW unique items", "Blowout sale", "Restocked bazaar" and "Ridiculously low prices." The best places to advertise are when you click on Broadcasts.

Want To Be Rated Best Album? Here Are Some Tips & Tricks! (:

Hello c: I am so sorry for not posting, or even just being on Stardoll for that matter. I had some personal things to deal with, but I'm pretty sure I'm back now. (:

I know I have never won Best Rated Album, but I have definitely worked towards it, and I have noticed that these are the elements that PAST winners have incorporated into their albums, so if you're trying to win, check this out (:

• PICTURES

This is the cover of my album. People seem to like very black and white, color-schemed covers and pages. They like the pictures to be very pretty. I took this picture using the camera feature from the Alpine Chalet suite. 

Add lots of nature, abstract, or just pictures that look like a photographer took them. 

Here are some examples:

Now, as you can see, it doesn't ALWAYS have to be of a landscape or whatnot, it can be just a pretty cool looking picture of your MeDoll (:

Continuing Photos:

Another thing you can do is resize a photo so it is going from one page to the other, being big enough that it takes up two pages. Here is a quick video I made showing you how to do that. (:

Of course, you'll have to resize both photos to easily fit the two pages. (:

• Formatting

People are more inclined to reading and looking at something that is formatted nice. For example, having a picture of your MeDoll on the right side, and on the left explaining why you made your MeDoll look like that, or a little bit about yourself. (:

It is also important that you try to keep a theme throughout your whole album, or else it starts to look messy and confusing. 

If you're going with Summer, or Black and White, then keep with it.

• Be Creative  

Of course you don't have to have a black and white theme, that's just a very popular idea. So, you could use it as a suite extension, a magazine, photo album, style blog? ANYTHING :D
